delicate doilies

I am so loving the new "Delicate Doilies" stamp set! It'll be available in
just a matter of days when the new catalog is launched!

The bottom card is similar to one I found on Splitcoast.
I need to find its original designer and I will post it.

Love this set... And there's an awesome matching background stamp!

flores suaves

The "Flores Suaves" set is in the Celebrando Creatividad catalog and I just love it! The butterfly is so beautiful and I love the little script background that it also comes with.

It was a lot of work to cut out each butterfly but I think it was worth it!
I also added lines to them with a glitter pen and sprayed the entire card with
Vanilla Smooch. And don't you just love the seam binding ribbon! Love!

Thoughts?

sewing again

Here are some more of the little bags I've made this week...

I love the fabrics... They are laminated cotton so they are easy to wipe clean!

chic boutique for mom...& a deal for YOU!

My mom's birthday was in the middle of May... here is the card I made her.

It was made using the "Chic Boutique" stamp set, which I love! I'm so bummed that it's being retired! Do you NEED to own it to? Place a $50 order with me now and I will send you a copy of the NEW catalog on July 1st when it launches! What a deal!

worm wishes bookmark

When I was in Birmingham visiting my sister-in-law we made little corner
bookmarks using the "Bugs and Kisses" stamp set. I'm sad it's getting retired!

quilts galore!

So my new addiction is quilting! I have never been formally taught how to quilt...I've just picked up the basics over the years and finally started producing thing other than just in my head! I will be listing these in my Etsy store so let me know if you would like one that I've made or would like me to make one custom for you!

Wait until you see all the beautiful fabrics that will be offered in the new Stampin' Up! catalog! Yummy! I can't wait to get my hands on them and make a quilt out of those!

save the date

My friend Nicholas and his beautiful soon-to-be wife, Mallory, asked me to make their save the date cards for their wedding next year. I used all Stampin' Up! products and gave them 4 prototypes...

The following is the one they chose...

They will be getting married on Bastille Day, so they are using a French theme for their wedding. It's also fitting that Nicholas happens to be a French teacher!

Do you need invitations made for a wedding? A baby shower? For any party or event? Email or call me!

retirees gift card boxes

Last month we hosted a breakfast for the teachers retiring from our school. Since I'm on the Staff Relations Committee, I made all the boxes to house their gift cards. They were a hit!

My mom found a tutorial online on how to make them. I will get it from her and post it...
Don't you love them?!

And I think their cake turned out cute, too!

father's day

I made this card for my dad for Father's Day... I love the little "tie tacks".

This is a perfect dad set... It's available in the Summer Mini but will also
be available in the new catalog starting SOON!

cute little quilted list taker

I made another item! It's a quilted list taker made out of fabric scraps...

What do you think?!

my new etsy friend

I have a new buddy on Etsy... Her name is Andrea of Knitty Bitties. I've ordered a couple of camera straps and an adorable iPad cover.

I recently ordered fabric that had my logo on it... So Andrea made me a new iPad cover and little pouch for its cord and picture adapters. I received it the other day when I got home from Birmingham. I just love it! Thanks, Andrea!

You have to check out her Shop!

saturday sewing...

I spent some time at my sewing machine today and made little mug rugs. These cute little pseudo place mats are perfect for your cup of coffee and a bagel or bowl of cereal! I just love these!

On a mission to make a bunch! I will post more of them soon!

tile coasters

While I was in Birmingham, Tara and I made little coasters out of tiles!

They are so easy to make! We took non-glossy tiles, stamped them using Stazon, and sprayed them with a pastel fixative. That's it! So easy!
