i (heart) punch art!

I am totally CRAZY for the "Two-Step Owl Punch" (118074)...
if you are going to purchase only 1 punch (but who would want just one?!),

THIS IS IT!

All of these little guys are made using the owl.  Soooo many uses for this!!!!

My mom likes to use a "homemade" calendar at work
that she hangs from a decorated wooden clipboard.
Aren't these owls just perfect?!

Here are the owls used for February...

Love "Birds"

Her bustier was made using the "Heart to Heart Punch" (119881)
and her skirt was made using the "1-3/4 Inch Scallop Circle Punch" (119854).

His bowtie is made using the heart that comes with the owl punch.
It was punched twice and glued end to end.

March and the "Luck of the Irish"...

Leprechaun and his Pot O' Gold

The "Boho Blossoms Punch" (119858) is GREAT for making shoes for any owl!

The bunnies hop into April...

puppy punch art

I saw a cute recipe scrapbook page from Stampin' Up! demonstrator, Wendy Hawkinson...
it inspired me to create this card!

I made the puppy using the "Two-Step Owl Punch" (118074
and the "2x1-3/8 Inch Oval Punch" (119859).
I freehanded the fire hydrant and the grass (from the new In Color cardstock and paper).

aviary...it's for the birds

I LOVE the SU! stamp set "Aviary" (120462)... you can do so many cute things with these stamps!

These 2 cards were made also using the "Top Note Die" (113463) and cork (119819)!
I used pins to "hang" the birdcage and attached the sayings made from "Fabulous Phrases" (120501).

The new In Colors were used for the ink and cardstock.

You can order any of these from my SU! website!

Or...email me if you would be interested in hosting a workshop!

More bird stuff...more punch art!

crazy for punch art

HAPPY NEW YEAR!

My mom and I love punch art and she spends many hours on her ipad searching for things to "punch".
Naturally we spent New Year's Day playing with punches!

When my sister-in-law mentioned that she was trying to think of a theme for her son's 2nd birthday...well, see what we put together!

Sesame Street!

Ernie

Bert

Big Bird (We ended up changing this one's beak.  I'll have to take a new picture!)

Cookie Monster

Grover

Elmo

Random ladybug...

Love, love, love!

These are so much fun to make!

nature's nest card share

I spent the day making cards with my mom and grandmother.  I got to play with a new stamp set I received recently...Nature's nest (#113826), and put it to use making similar cards to some that I saw on Splitcoast.  I love the natural elements of this set!

I also used the word set, Fabulous Phrases (#120501) and the Level 1 Hostess set, Silhouette Sentiments, which you can earn by hosting a workshop!  Contact me to learn how you can earn this set and more!

...and this is where I apologize for the quality of my pictures, again.

kay's christmas card

I received a beautiful Christmas card today from my upline,
Kay Sha, and had to share!

Thanks, Kay!

widgets and gadgets and blogspots, oh my!

Being new to the blogging world makes it very difficult to "create" my page.  Adding links and widgets, etc. can be quite daunting...

last-minute throw-togethers...

I had to make a few gift card holders.  I used some Stampin' UP! REALLY old DSP.
I cut the flowers out of the paper, attached them to the gift card holder and curled the edges.

Cute and easy!

I cut paper into 5 1/2 squares, scored it, and there's my gc holder!

Another random gift card holder...

I purchased Amaryllis flower bulbs in pots to decorate and give to the women in my family.  I made little picks (which were actually turkey lacers!) to insert into the pot with each lady's initial.  Here are a few...

I'm ready to make more stuff...but ready to move onto another holiday!

Best wishes for a Merry Christmas to ALL!

busy, busy...

I've been busy working on various projects. Here's a sample...

These are embossed vellum candle holders...

I made them for a Christmas party for the staff at the school where I work.
They were arranged 5 per table for a "star" effect. They turned out very pretty!

Along with the candles, I also made bookmark paper clips.
The tag reads "from 'OWL' of us!"...

They were made using the Stampin' UP! 2-step owl punch (#118074).
This punch is sooooo versatile!

Ahh...on to Christmas cards!

These were made using the Stampin' UP! 2-step bird punch (#117191).
Anyone who knows me knows my obsession with birds!

A friend of mine always has me make her Christmas cards each year...
Here's this year's card:

I really need to start taking pictures with my camera, not my Blackberry!

I also made gifts for the secretaries/principals at school. My mom sent me this idea she found on the internet (I'll give credit as soon as I find out who she got the idea from!). I used the Stampin UP! clear-mount stamp cases (#119105) and added notepads (I had to cut these down), mechanical pencils, and more owl bookmark/paperclips! I used double sided paper and ribbon to bling them out! Handy and cute!

Sorry for the camera...again!

Off to go create more!
